What's Wrong with Virginia? Casting

Three very skilled and talented actors have joined What’s Wrong with Virginia? Ed Harris, Emma Roberts and Amy Madigan are set to work with director and writer Dustin Lance Black, Oscar-winning screenwriter of Milk.
Harris will play the role that was originally attached to Liam Neeson. The sheriff whose state senate bid lies on the line when his daughter starts dating the son of a psychologically disturbed woman with whom the sheriff has been involved with a two-decade affair. Jennifer Connelly also stars in the title role. I get the impression she's Virginia.
Shooting of the film is schedule to start September 28, 2009 in Holland, Michigan.
