What is so Special about Dolphin Tale?

First of all, I am impressed with the cast of Dolphin Tale. The most important star of the movie is Winter, the dolphin who loses her tale in a crab trap. Dolphin injuries in fishing nets, traps and other equipment are, unfortunately, quite common.
Group of scientists get together and help Winter develop, design and fit geometrically a prosthetic to work for the amputeed tail. It needed to attach comfortably and snugly. The problem for this amputee is that it was never done for a dolphin or fish before -- an artificial limb for a dolphin.
I have been to Clearwater, Florida many times, but never visited the aquarium where the story takes place. My daughter has been there, and she enjoys the facility and speaks of it often.
I like this movie and want to support this movie because it's uplifting. A group of people get together and solve a problem that is the greatest good for all.
Next time I am in Clearwater, I plan to visit Winter and thank her for the inspiration she offers those who have special needs.
