Hurt Locker and Up in the Air win Top WGA Awards

Mark Boal, Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner can tell you that it always begins with a world. The Hurt Locker and Up in the Air won the top feature screenplay awards from the Writers Guild of America.
Boal took the original screenplay trophy Hurt Locker while Reitman and Turner took adapted screenplay trophy for Up in the Air from the novel of the same name by Walter Kirn.
Turner gave thanks to his fellow members, adding, “We don't write because we want to -- we write because we have to.”
