Quick Talk with Walter Klenhard

I am just about to leave my office, rushing around trying to get organized for a meeting, when my telephone rings, and it’s Writer-director-producer Walter Klenhard, calling me by mistake--that is how we met.
He’s looking for someone else, but somehow managed to dial my number instead, which is fortuitous because being a writer with the call on his dime, I immediately pump him with questions since I have a web site and need content.
I ask for his web site address because in my own casual way I want to learn about him.
He’s baffled and says he doesn’t have a web site. “Professional screenwriters who are in the business don’t own web sites. Why should they?”
Now, I am taken off guard because I thought all screenwriters had web sites. I have at least three, and I tell him so.
Klenhard asks me to name another one. I do.
Klenhard then informs me that the director of that movie, of the same screenwriter I used for my rebuttal, paid him under the table to fix the screenwriter’s script. Case is closed
