'Transformers 2' $60.6 Million Opening

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen earned $60.6 million at the box office yesterday, clearly scoring the best opening day for a Wednesday at the domestic box office. The former record-holder was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix that brought in $44.2 million in July 2007. I am banking on the fact that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will break Paramount’s sequel Transformers 2 score this July.
