Ending its critically acclaimed CBS-TV run after just one season (1963-64), the show’s 26 episodes are cherished by many today as the legendary entertainer’s finest work. I found this collection priceless because Garland’s talent is awe inspiring to hear her voice and watch her perform – a true professional.
Judy reunites with her silver screen song-and-dance partner Mickey Rooney, delighting in a nostalgia-filled MGM medley and reminiscing about the good ol’ days. Judy is also joined by two-time Grammy Award-winner and Oscar-nominated singer Bobby Darin; Route 66’s George Maharis; comedy legend Bob Newhart; iconic character actor Jack Carter; baseball great Leo Durocher; popular bluegrass band The Dillards; and series regular Jerry Van Dyke.
