'The Hangover' Blows Past 'Up'

The word on the Internet is that it’s rare that the number one and number two flicks switch positions once official box office numbers are reported on Monday. Yet, that is what happened this weekend with Up and The Hangover.

Up flew high and over Hangover for the number one spot at the box office. I even reported the tally yesterday. But the final numbers for both flicks designate Hangover grossed $45 million while Up grossed $44.3 million, meaning Hangover out sold Up, triumphing the weekend box office score.
