Kidman to Play a Man

Nicole Kidman will star in a story about a true-life sex change that took place in the early 1930’s. Let the Right One In director Tomas Alfredson will direct the drama called The Danish Girl.
The true story is based on David Ebershoff’s novel of the same title about Danish painter Einar Wegener (Kidman), who in 1931 became the first person to go through a sex-change operation to become a woman.
