The Amazing Spider-Man relates to all teenage boys. The teenager who is trying to discover who he is and how he can be the person he wants to be.

All in all, it is a journey. For Peter Parker it is an adventure of putting the pieces of his past together – secrets. Secrets…his father held…eventually shaping Peter’s destiny as Spider-Man.

The first in a series of movies begins with the telling of a different story that Marvel Studios is speculating to create a huge franchise the story deserves.

The trailer below shows you a bit of the journey the superhero takes as a teenager. The website is just as cool, offering more detail of Spider-Man’s psyche.

The Amazing Spider-Man opens July 3, 2012.
