I am very pleased to share the new U.S. theatrical poster of the new film We Need To Talk About Kevin starring Tilda Swinton, John C. Reilly and Ezra Miller. Does it stir your senses? Yikes! I can't wait to see Reilly and Swinton together in this thriller -- such opposites.
A suspenseful and gripping psychological thriller, director Lynne Ramsay's We Need To Talk About Kevin explores the factious relationship between a mother and her son. Tilda Swinton, in a bracing, tour-de-force performance, plays the mother, Eva, as she contends for 15 years with the increasing malevolence of her first-born child, Kevin (Ezra Miller).
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, "We Need To Talk About Kevin" explores nature vs. nurture on a whole new level as Eva's own culpability is measured against Kevin's innate evilness. Ramsay's masterful storytelling simultaneously combines a provocative moral ambiguity with a satisfying and compelling narrative, which builds to a chilling, unforgettable climax. I can’t wait to see the trailer. The story remains me of the stage and film classic Bad Seed.
The movie opens for qualifying run on December 9, 2011 in New York and Los Angeles and the commercial release is January 27, 2012 in New York and Los Angeles.
