Statham Close to Deal

Sergeant Ken Brant will be coming to the screen when Jason Statham takes the role of the cop who lives badly, boozing all night, but Brant is one tough cop assigned the job of capturing a serial killer who targets police officers with a hammer. The story comes from the Ken Bruen’s bestseller “Blitz,” which is also the name of the movie.
Brant’s openly gay partner will be played by Paddy Considine (The Bourne Ultimatum) and Elliot Lester will direct from the script by Nathan Parker. Filming begins August 10, 2009 in London and will be entirely produced in Britain.
