Rock of Ages Trailer Stars Tom Cruise

The Hollywood Reporter is hosting the trailer for the next Tom Cruise movie, Rock of Ages. The 1980s-story is directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray) from the adaptation of the Tony-nominated Broadway musical of the same name.
The story follows a small-town girl (Julianne Hough) and city boy (Diego Boneta). They both meet while pursuing their dreams of making it as an actress and rock star in Hollywood.
The trailer highlights the stellar cast and you don’t see Cruise until the end, which is pretty awesome and the way to really keep the attention on the story and music. We see Cruise as a long-haired, shirtless rock star. He is begged by a female fan to sign her chest. Then there is Alec Baldwin in long hair as well. He is the as a club raunchy owner – perfect for him. Then, we see angelica Catherine Zeta-Jones playing the woman must shut down the club in that it's nothing but a place for "sex."
All in all, it looks like an upbeat, over the top, funny movie with great music and acting.
The movie opens June 1, 2012.
