Pirates 4 is 3D

No surprises here folks because what I am about to tell you is happening with a lot of films. However, what is cool about this production is that it's not a 3D conversion after the lensing.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be shot in 3D. The Pirates franchise has been on quite a long voyage since the departure of Disney’s former chairman, Dick Cook.

Now, it’s smooth sailing with Disney chairman Rich Ross. He made it official today that Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is still scheduled for release on May 20, 2011, about a year from today, arriving in 3D.
