Monsters Poster is Awesome

Monsters was produced on a very low budget in Mexico, but has received positive feedback at Sundance festival. I like this poster as it shows the devastation with a hit of hope. But, why does the guy have a mask on and not the gal? Those are the stars of the movie, Scoot McNairy and Whitney Able.
The story takes place six years after Earth has suffered an alien invasion, a cynical journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.
