Dwayne Johnson Going on a Journey

Dwayne Johnson will be going on a journey in the sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D instead of Brendan Fraser due to start dates.
According to THR, Johnson will play the boyfriend of Hutcherson’s mom, which they in up going on a trip together to a mythical and monstrous island to search for his missing grandfather. The story is somewhat based on Jules Verne “The Mysterious Island.”
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is the official title of the 3D movie with Brad Peyton on board to direct the film.
The studio is hoping for an October start date for production in North Carolina and Hawaii.
