The movie is an unlikely true story of an eccentric conman, who goes from small-town businessman to wacky white-collar criminal. He over and over again finds himself in trouble with the law and on the run, skillfully escaping from the Texas prison system on four separate occasions – all in the name of love of another man.
Jim Carrey, Ewan McGregor, Leslie Mann and Rodrigo Santoro star in I Love You Phillip Morris. The flashy comedy is written and directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.
I Love You Phillip Morris will open on December 3, 2010 in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
