Sid and Marty Krofft changed Saturday mornings forever when the sibling puppeteers unleashed colorful characters like H.R. Pufnstuf and The Bugaloos on a generation of sugary-cereal-fueled kids growing up in the 1970s and ’80s. It will be available at retailers November 30 for a list price of $14.93. But, my daughter watched it today and though it was fun to watch, yet the younger kids 3 to 5 years of age will really enjoy it more.
SID & MARTY KROFFT’S SATURDAY MORNING HITS contains more than two and a half hours of beloved Krofft creations with classic episodes from H.R. Pufnstuf, The Bugaloos, Sigmund & the Sea Monsters and Lidsville. It also includes never-before-on-DVD episodes of Electra Woman & Dyna Girl, Bigfoot & Wildboy, and Wonderbug. A gallery that spans 50 years of the Krofft’s artwork is included as a DVD extra.
