Everwood Season 4 Makes for a Great Finale

Everwood's series finale aired in early June 2006 and was viewed by over 4 million viewers.
The final episode was in two parts called Foreverwood was written with the purpose of having a season and a series finale. WB/UPN merge was about to happen, so the series was in jeopardy. Thus, the two endings were written. The aired version ended the season and bonus scenes of Madison showing up to cause some cliffhanger trouble.
Everwood was canceled to make room for a new show, Runaway, which starred Dawn Ostroff, which was canceled after only three episodes and for a new season of 7th Heaven, which had just had its series finale.
Fans loved Everwood for its family programming format, claiming "a joy to watch." If you loved the Walton’s or Little House on the Prairie, then, most likely, you will love Everwood,
The finale season wraps up all the loose storylines, which is a pleasure for Everwood fans.
