Emma Stone Added to Mary Jane Casting List

Emma Stone is the hot topic today on the Internet because she is in line for the coveted role of Mary Jane Watson, the love interest to Peter Parker, of Spider-man. Deadline was the first to announce the assumption of Stone as the top pick. Some other names are on the list, too: Mia Wasikowska, Dianna Argron, Georgina Haig, Dominique McElligott and Gwen Stacey.
Nothing is official, but I am sure it’s a publicity stunt, well worth the effort, to promote the fact that a new Spider-man movie is coming out with Marc Webb directing Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-man from a script by James Vanderbilt with production set to start in December 2010.
