We Enter the World of Doctor Who in Glorious DVD

It looks like all is well with Doctor Who in the release of Doctor Who: Series 6 Part 1, which arrived on the streets last week. I am sure you are hoping to view the DVD sometime in the near future. After a great weekend at Comic Con adventures, a good dose of Doctor Who is in order, so don’t get lost and forget about Doctor Who. If you want you can visit the series official website.
To tell you a little bit about the DVD. Doctor Who: Series 6, Part 1 contains the first seven episodes with two Monster files, “The Gangers” and “The Silence,” known as two of the Doctor’s most difficult opponents.
What I really enjoyed was the season opener, rightly called, “The Impossible Astronaut,” it is an instant mystery about four envelopes that are received, numbered 2, 3 and 4, each containing a date, time and map reference. Where did they come from or better yet who sent them?
And who received the missing number one? It’s Doctor Who at his best. Anyway, this strange summons reunites the Doctor, Amy, Rory and River Song in the middle of the Utah desert and unveils a terrible secret the Doctor's friends must never reveal to him. What could that secret be? I am not saying, but it is fun to watch. ‘Space 1969’ is their only clue, as their quest lands them - quite literally - in the Oval Office, where they are enlisted by President Nixon himself to assist enigmatic former-FBI agent Canton in saving a terrified little girl from a mysterious spaceman. Oh, I just love this stuff. Don’t you?
