Movie Roar - Hear the Movies Roar!

Christian Marclay's The Clock Trailer

September 30th 2011 04:41

Christian Marclay's The Clock is a 24-hour single-channel montage constructed from thousands of moments of cinema and television history illustrating the passage of time in real time.

The movie was excerpted and edited together to create a functioning timepiece synchronized to local time wherever it is shown. The result marks the exact time in real time for the viewer for 24 consecutive hours.

The Clock is being shown as regular screenings during museum hours in the Art of the Americas Building. It should also be noted that the work contains brief nudity and some strong language.

For the purpose of experience and the concept of Christian Marclay's work, viewers are kindly asked to play this video a 0.04 pm, local time. If the time has passed, you can wait for tomorrow or another day at same time.
